About Me

Unfortunately, I did not grow up with my dad, but I inherited his curiosity for mystery and the unknown. I grew up with my mom whose side of the family always said, "Never fear the dead. Its the living we must fear." My father was always into the unknown and mysterious. So I take a little from both and VOILA! A paranormal Investigator is born!

I became more deeply interested in paranormal research because growing up I experienced unexplained things and never knew what to make of them. Never thought of them as scary. Time went by and eventually I got older, enough to know there is in fact an explanation for everything. Everything is not paranormal... but some things are...

Why are you interested in joining APR?

Past experiences and relatively recent ones sparked my interest into learning more about why spirits/ghosts decide they want to stay rather than move on. Of course we may never know who it is we are communicating with 100% when we do make that connection. I joined APR because this diverse and close group explores several possibilites that not everything that goes bump in the night is paranormal. And we're freakin awesome!

What in your background makes you a good fit for paranormal research?

In a way I'm neutral, however I love catching evidence.

Investigator

About Me

Born and raised in Ponce, Puerto Rico. I was a Nursing assistant for two years, then I entered the military to support my mom. Three years later I was honorably discharged, and moved to Hartford Conneticut where I started working for Marriott Hotels. I worked and travelled all over the country in the hotel indurstry for a number of years, but eventually settled down in Californa where I started bartending in LA. A few years later I moved to the Bay Area and began Managing the White horse Inn and have been there for 13 years and counting. I love to play sports and have enjoyed playing softball in a SF league. In 2010 I had the honor of competing in the Gay Games in Cologne Germany. I love people, laughing, jokes and consider myself down to earth.

Why are you interested in joining APR?

I've always considered myself senstive to the paranormal and the energies around me. I've had a number of experiences in my life from voices, premonitions and even things moving around me. When I have a 'gut feeling' that doesn't seem to be coming from me I usually consider it a sign and try to reach out to friends who might need help.

What in your background makes you a good fit for paranormal research?

Energetic, hard working, long time interest and eager to learn.

About Me

I am a computer techie, an educator, and a researcher. I like to discover how things work.

Why are you interested in joining APR?

I have had an interest in the paranormal since childhood, when I directly experienced frightening, unexplained paranormal events in the home I grew up in. I wanted to understand what was happening, and to not be afraid, so throughout my life I have sought out experiences with as open a mind as I can manage.

I am an Empath, which helps me to locate hot spots during an investigation.

What in your background makes you a good fit for paranormal research?

I am the family genealogist, so I have access to archival sites, and a perseverance to unearth actual history, rather than accept verbal history or claims.

Research Lead

About Me

Paranormal Investigator looking to do more investigating.

Why are you interested in joining APR?

Get more experience on local investigations.  I have investigated the Hornet several times, Meek and McCounaghy Estates in Hayward, and the Ryde Hotel (in the Delta).  Looking for more opportunities to investigate locations.  I have my own equipment, and use a camera based, observational style when on a hunt.  I am a skeptic, I have no senitive ability, I have not had any experiences that have forced me to believe.  I am still searching.

About Me

Through my own experiences as a young girl, I have always had a passion for the paranormal. Giving me the desire to understand what makes things go bump in the night! Be it paranormal or not. While I'm not reading up on anything in the fortean world, I am a Cosmetology student, DJ Extraordinare, Graphic Designer and spooky-movie buff.

Why are you interested in joining APR?

Having had a few of my own experiences as a child and teen, I have always found myself leaning towards seeking out the paranormal my entire life. Skeptic or not - there is something about the wonder of the spirit world that draws us to it. I hope to aid in investigations to get to the bottom of possible hauntings and to educate those that may feel burdened by such events in their lives.

What in your background makes you a good fit for paranormal research?

Well trained ears from my DJ career as well as being quite the fearless one. My wonder for the spirit world triumphs any fear that may reside within me.

About Me

Growing up in my grandparents house which was built in the late 1800's, i experienced paranormal activities such as things moving on their own, foot steps going up and down stairs and lights turning off and on by themselves. To this day those experiences are still with me.

Why are you interested in joining APR?

To learn from an experienced team so I can become a better investigator of the paranormal.

What in your background makes you a good fit for paranormal research?

Being in the Security Industry for 12 yrs has made me a keen observer & evidence reviewer also even though i am a believer in the paranormal i do have a skeptical side, so to back up anything i experience i need hard evidence before saying something is paranormal.
