So, earlier I was going to check out the "haunted asylum" at the Navel Base with a friend. Before we got there, we passed by an abandoned "Civic Light Opera Studio 35". There was a shiny gray SUV (it looked fairly new) parked beside it, and there was a German Shepherd sitting in the passenger's seat, staring out the window (which was cracked about an inch). I didn't think much of it until later, but the dog didn't even move when we approached. It didn't move at all, just stared out the window (and then at us when we moved in its line of sight). It looked really sad. Anyways, there was a window nearby on the building, and in that window we could see what looked like a figure moving around. We thought nothing of it until my friend took another glance and saw a shadowy male face staring at us with glowing green eyes (and no pupils). It pulled away from the window when it was caught. We began walking away then, toward the "insane asylum", and when we glanced back over our shoulders the dog was gone and the shadowy figure was standing at the window again (though I didn't see any eyes).

I tried looking up the opera studio, but the wikipedia page for it was deleted. All that I could find is that it opened in 1996 and closed in 2010 (unknown reason).

What do you think?

Alameda has its own paranormal investigators? I love this island! I do a lot of work in Theaters in the bay area. While I haven't been to these locations in a long time I do remember them as having a good deal more "Presence"and stories than most. Santa Rosa's High School Theater and what was once called "the old hay barn " on the campus at UCSC. If it is the same building, It's now called the "the Barn Theater" . Another place; local, Haunted and under-investigated might be the Dunsmuir House in Oakland. Any-hoo be great to keep you guys busy and local. Hope to catch you on the news soon.
